Landed cost = supplier price + shipping + duties/import fees
What it means
On AliExpress the listed price often excludes shipping, and imports may carry VAT or duty. Using the bare listing price overstates margin, so add shipping and import costs before judging a product.
Worked example
A product listed at $8.00 with $3.00 shipping has a landed cost of $11.00.
